Braxton is seven months old today! It feels like I just posted that he was six months. Time just keeps flying by. Here are the latest updates on our little guy.

Braxton loves watching the cars go by on our street. We go outside at least a couple times a day and sit on our steps or on the grass and watch the cars. He just gets so absorbed by everything that goes on around him when we are outside.

He loves his exersaucer. His feet touch the bottom now and he loves to jump in it. He can also reach and maneuver all of the toys on it. He can also make the seat spin now, too.

He has the most beautiful blue eyes. I get comments on them all the time.

He loves to go swimming. He is quite the little fishy. We haven't gone to the pool lately, but he swims in the tub every night before (to wear him out). And every night our bathroom looks like it has been flooded.

Braxton can now sit on his own. Yay buddy!

He doesn't crawl yet, but we are practicing! He can get his chest and belly off the ground now.

And we took our first walk to the temple last week. Braxton loved looking at the fountains and playing in the grass.
Highlights from the past month include:
- Getting better at eating baby food. He also eats small pieces of bread, pasta, and raisins.
- Sitting completely by himself. He could do this at 6 months but would topple over if he saw something interesting or got too excited. Now he is really good at catching his balance.
- Loves to stand (with support).
- Improved fine motor skills. He is very good at picking up his toys when he drops them and manipulating them. He passes toys between his two hands.
- Still loves peak-a-boo.
- Loves riding in his stroller and being outside.
- Developed a sense of "stranger danger." Brax will no longer let just anybody hold him.
- Loves looking at other babies.
- Makes lots of new noises. My favorite is his little motor boat. It comes complete with lots of drool :)
- Teething. He hasn't gotten any teeth in yet, but you can see and feel them.
- First diaper rash.
- Started riding in the shopping cart by himself and sitting in a high chair at restaurants.
- Scoots! He can scoot to both the left and right when he is on his tummy. He can also go backwards. When he is laying on his back, he arches his back and pushes with his feet to make him move.
- Loves touching people's faces... and clawing faces.
- Is obsessed with light up toys .
I think that is about it... At seven months, Braxton weighs about 20 pounds and is probably about 28 inches long. So about average size for his age. We love Braxton so much. Not a day goes by that we don't think about how special he is. Love you, buddy!
He is so cute and he is growing up so fast! You are an amazing mom!
