Halloween Festivities

I am so late in posting this, but October was a busy month for us with all of our Halloween activities. For Mothers' Group, we took a trip up to Gardner Village. We walked around and looked at all the shops and the cute (over-priced) decorations. We also completed a witch scavenger hunt which earned us free cookies. Win!
All of the moms and their babies.

Braxton on the hay bail. Little Stinker wouldn't smile for any of the pictures.
Me and my boy!
Haha, told ya! Tryin' to grab his friend.
Brax on the cute wagon. He loved the pumpkin!

Later in the month, we had another Mothers' Group activity where we had a little Halloween party with the kids. We dressed them up in their costumes and ate caramel apples. Yum!
All the kids in their costumes. Meet TinkerBell, Ghost, Mickey, Jimmer, Duck, and Cow.

Kyle and I also took Braxton on a trip to the grocery store to pick out pumpkins. I think it was more fun for us than it was for Braxton. I tried to get him to play with the pumpkin guts while we were carving, but he wouldn't even touch it. Here are our pumpkins:

We obviously are not artists...
All lit up with candles

Our ward also had a Halloween Party the Saturday before Halloween. The Sunday School was in charge of putting it on, so Kyle spent a lot of time planning, delegating, setting up, tearing down, and cooking lasagna.

We dressed up as a family this year. Braxton wore his duck costume again and Kyle and I went as duck hunters. It was quite a hit! Sadly, I didn't get a single picture of all of us together at the party...
Only picture from the night... in the mother's lounge right before Brax went to bed...
If anyone has pictures of us at the ward party, would you please email them to me? Thank you!

Waving hi!

Best part of the costume- butt padding

Kyle had to work on Halloween, but they had a little party at work. So Brax and I tagged along. Kyle wore his gangster outfit instead of matching us again. He wears this costume every year.

Braxton was one sad and sleepy duck when we got home.

So that was October in a nutshell. We had so much fun and are so grateful for wonderful friends and a great ward that we got to celebrate with.
