On the way down, we stopped at this awesome animal preserve. We saw hippos, manatees, crocodiles, a ton of different birds, etc. It was really cool and helped break up the drive a little bit.

This is Braxton riding on the little shuttle at the preserve.

34 weeks pregnant. Feeling huge and uncomfortable. Beach therapy definitely helped life my spirits.

We had beautiful weather the whole trip. The sunsets were beautiful!

Kyle dug a hole for me in the sand. It felt sooooo good to lay on my stomach and take some of the pressure off of my hips.

Kyle and Braxton spent lots of time playing and digging in the sand.

Braxton thought it was super funny when we buried him in the sand. We ended up burying him and Kyle together because Braxton wanted to do it again.

Braxton's first time playing mini golf. The owner gave Braxton a real shark's tooth when we finished.

Braxton found a crab shell on the beach. He loved hunting for "treasures" when the tide would start going out.
We loved these beautiful clam shells. The tide would bring them in and they would hurry to burrow into the sand so that the birds couldn't eat them. Check out all the colors we found!
This trip was so much fun! Our hotel was awesome! It had a full kitchen and living area. We ended up cooking most of our meals in our hotel. We only ate out twice during our stay. The hotel also had a pool and a hot tub. In the mornings before it was warm enough to head across the street to the beach, we would head over to the pool and Braxton and Kyle would sit in the hot tub (I could only put my feet in). This trip was so much fun and the perfect way to close out the stage of our lives as a family of three!
